I was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas. I finished High School at Olathe South and moved on to play basketball at Pittsburg State University in Southeast Kansas. After graduating with degrees to teach Math and Physical Education, I took a PE job in Garden City, Kansas. I taught there for 3 years while coaching high school boys basketball, middle school track and football. I decided to look for a new opportunity in Colorado where I stumbled across the job posting for the Head Girls Basketball Coach here at Vista Ridge. I applied, secured the job and decided to teach Elementary School PE at Inspiration View in D49. When an opportunity came open at the high school to teach PE, I went for it and was graciously given an opportunity to teach here. I have now been at Vista as a teacher for 2 years and have coached basketball for 3.
