The 2023-24 school year marks my 4th year teaching at Vista Ridge High School.  I teach Earth Science and Biomedical Science - Human Body Systems.  

Online access to course content is via Schoology (https://schoology.CO01900838.schoolwires.net). E-Learning (snow days, etc.) and all presented content that students will need access to will be available there, as the content is presented in class.  Parents may view their student's Schoology course.  To do so, please email me to request your student's unique access code.

I am a UCCS/UCCSTeach 2020 graduate with a BA in Biology.  I also have an AS from Pikes Peak Community College.  My training in STEM includes Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Physics, Astronomy, Botany, and Plant Physiology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Nutrition. 

I enjoy many hobbies and activites while not teaching.  I spend the summer weeks gardening, paddle boarding, and volunteering.  I also enjoy reading Science Fiction novels, especially series/trilogies.  I also love visiting national parks and monuments to explore nature and the fantastic wonders of this Earth.
